A+ Interpreting and Translation Services
A+ Ancillary Services feels it is a top priority to provide the injured worker with a professionally trained language speaker for Spanish, ASL, and others. Translation services are provided to translate all document. We do not want you to feel overwhelmed with the information presented, so we offer language services to help you understand your medical, legal, and financial options and obligations.
Interpretation refers to person-to-person communication. Interpretation may be required for a variety of needs. We serve these needs ranging from non-English speakers to the deaf, to the hard-of-hearing, and even older patients who may feel more comfortable with a slower speaker. It is essential that every patient and injured worker receive the interpretive services they need to fully understand the medical, legal, and financial circumstances of their injury. A+ Ancillary Services provides all transportation needs:
Ambulatory/ Sedan – Whether a patient requires a low sitting vehicle that is easy to get in and out of or they require an ambulance equipped with medical equipment, we will make sure the right vehicle takes them to and from their appointments.
Wheelchair Access – Patients want to get around their homes independently. Those who live closer to shopping centers or bus lines want to be able to leave their homes and shop by themselves. We will provide them with appropriate transportation to accommodate wheelchair access.
ALS-Advance Life Support – Transportation for patients with more critical conditions. A paramedic will be required to assist in the patient’s treatment when they are being transported to the medical facility.
BLS-Basic Life Support – Emergency transportation provided by an EMT. A basic EMT, with 120+ hours of training, will provide necessary bandaging, splinting, and airway management skills during transport.
Gurney – Whether due to unconsciousness, physical pain, or other reasons, sometimes it is necessary for gurneys to be used in the transportation of patients. Our trained medical staff will make sure they are moved from their bed or wheelchair to the gurney safe.
IN-HOME PATIENT CARE
